Padmamba Chemicals

It is a bit hard to find us if you don’t know the area well. We are at Plot 19 near GIT College in Udyam Bagh. The survey number is 703/1 if you are looking at a map. We deal with various chemicals here. It’s a lot of mixing and making sure everything is measured right. The smell can be pretty strong some days, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We have a small crew and most of us live nearby. It’s not a corporate office at all. It’s more like a large shed with a lot of barrels and sacks stacked up. We keep the gate open during the day so the air circulates better. The college students walk past quite often, which is the only real noise besides our own machines. We don't have any slogans or anything like that. We just take the orders and fill the containers. Sometimes the raw materials are late and it messes up our schedule, but we usually catch up. It’s practical work. We spend most of the day in our overalls. When the day is over, we lock up the big gates and head home. It’s just what we do. We’ve been at this same spot for a long time and the neighbors all know us by now. It’s a decent place to work if you don’t mind getting your hands a bit dirty.
