Atcon Imex is situated over at 227 Tilakwadi. We are pretty close to the Vaccine Depot Road, which is a landmark most people around here recognize. Tilakwadi is a nice part of town, a bit more relaxed than the city center, though it still gets its fair share of traffic during the day. Our office is a straightforward place. We do not have any high-end furniture or fancy decorations. It is just a few rooms where we handle our import and export tasks. There is always a lot of talk about shipping schedules and tracking numbers going on. We have a couple of old cupboards full of folders that we really should organize better one of these days. The building is older, but it is sturdy and keeps us dry when the monsoon hits. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to wait around for it to come back, which gives us a chance to actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. We have been operating from this spot for a good bit of time. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses or families who have lived here forever. It is a friendly atmosphere. You can hear birds in the trees nearby during the quiet parts of the afternoon. We like it here because it feels real. It is just us doing our thing, trying to keep the business moving forward without too much fuss or drama. It is a quiet, steady kind of work life on Tilakwadi.
