Shree Shantadurga Saw Mill

Shree Shantadurga Saw Mill is a local fixture over on Khanapur Road. We are at 778/2, which is right opposite Vijaya Bank in the Tilakwadi Ext area. It is pretty easy to find us because of the bank across the street. The mill is usually full of the smell of fresh wood and the constant hum of the saws. It’s a dusty place, and we are always cleaning up shavings, though they just pile back up again the next day. We’ve been in this part of Tilakwadi for a long time. Khanapur Road can get really congested, especially in the afternoons, but we are used to it. We aren't some big industrial company with a board of directors. It’s just us running the mill day in and day out. Sometimes the equipment gets stubborn and we have to spend half the morning fixing a blade. That is just how it goes. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist to greet people. If you come by, you’ll probably find us out by the wood piles. We just focus on cutting the timber and keeping the yard organized enough to work in. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We aren't looking to move or change how we do things. We’ve been here at this address for years and it works for us.
