Sset College Of Education For Women is over in the Shivabasa area of Belgaum. It’s a quiet enough part of town compared to the main market areas. The college is mostly for women who want to become teachers. We see students coming in from all over the local area every morning. Some take the bus and others walk if they live close enough. The building isn’t brand new, but it serves its purpose for the classes we have. There are plenty of desks and blackboards, the usual stuff you’d expect. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and organizing the schedule for the different years. It’s a steady pace of work here. Belgaum has its own rhythm, especially with the weather changing throughout the year. Sometimes it’s quite dusty outside if there’s construction nearby. The staff room is usually where we sit and talk during the breaks between lectures. We don’t have a massive campus with huge gardens, but there’s enough room for everyone to get their work done. People know where we are because we've been in Shivabasa for some time. It’s just a regular place of learning, and we focus on the day-to-day tasks of keeping a college running. There’s always someone at the front desk to handle questions from students. We just keep things moving along as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it. It is just a practical place for education.
