Spm Controls

Spm Controls is situated in Udyambag, right across the road from the Ashok Iron Works Plant-I. Our specific spot is Rs. No. 686/1/A/2, and it’s a typical industrial setup for this part of the world. Udyambag is known for its workshops and manufacturing plants, so there is always the sound of grinding and machinery in the air. We focus on control systems and the technical side of making sure machines behave like they are supposed to. It is precise work, but we do it in a very down-to-earth environment. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it has everything we need to assemble parts and test things out. The staff here mostly wears work clothes and spends a lot of time bent over panels or looking at technical drawings. We see a lot of people from the nearby plants coming in when they have a problem with their setups. It is a collaborative kind of neighborhood where everyone knows what the other guy does. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been in Udyambag for a long time and people know where to find us when they need help with their controls. Most days are spent troubleshooting or putting together new units. It’s steady work and we like being right in the middle of the industrial action here, even if it gets a bit loud sometimes.
