Shiva Founders

Shiva Founders operates out of Plot No. 107 in the Mahalaxmi Compound. It's tucked away in Udyambag, which is a bit of an industrial area. If you’re looking for us, it’s best to just follow the signs for the compound. We’ve been based here for a long time. The workshop is usually hot and noisy, as you’d expect from a foundry. We spend our days working with molds and metal. It’s hard work and it gets messy, but it’s what we know how to do. The team here is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk where we handle the billing. You can usually hear the machines running from the street. Udyambag has a lot of places like ours, so we fit right in. We don't spend much on marketing or anything like that; people usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our sign at the gate. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished pieces waiting to be picked up. It's a straightforward operation. We just focus on the casting and making sure the orders are ready when people come to get them. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it works for us. We've got our routine and we stick to it every single day.
