Our place, Shantesha Motors Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in the Mujawar Compound at Nehru Nagar. If you know where the Ramdev Hotel is, we are right near there at 48/7. It's a decent spot, though the compound can get a bit crowded with vehicles coming and going throughout the afternoon. We have a small team here and most of us have been working with motors for a long time. It is not the kind of place with air conditioning or soft carpets, just a concrete floor and plenty of tools and parts scattered around. We spend a lot of our time dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it's a quick fix and other times we are looking at a motor for hours trying to figure things out. The noise from the street is always there, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big marketing department or anything, we just open the doors and get to work. Most of our regulars are people who live nearby or drivers who pass through Nehru Nagar often. We just try to get the job done so people can get back to their own lives. It’s a plain business and we like it that way. No one is putting on an act here, we are just working and staying busy to keep everything moving along.
