Shantadurga Travels

Shantadurga Travels is located at Shop No. 2 in the Mangaldeep Residency. We are on the Second Railway Gate Road in Belgaum, right across from M V Herwadkar High School. It is a lively spot, especially when school lets out and the kids are everywhere on the street. Our shop isn't very large, but it is enough for what we do. We have a few chairs for people to sit while we look up travel dates and prices for them. Most of the time, the TV is on in the corner with the news playing quietly in the background. We have been in this location for a good while, so we know a lot of the parents and teachers from across the street. The trains going past the gate can be a bit noisy, but we have mostly stopped noticing it after all these years. We do not use any fancy corporate language or have a big mission statement on the wall. We just help people book their tickets and plan their journeys. It is a lot of routine work, like checking schedules and filling out forms, but we do not mind it. Sometimes we run out of pens because we keep handing them to customers, but we always find another one in a drawer. It is just a regular local shop where we try to be useful and keep things moving.
