Chivates Travel Agency

Chivates Travel Agency is at No. 54/56 in Shahapur. It’s a small shop where we help people figure out where they’re going and how to get there. We aren't a big online company; we are just here in the neighborhood. People walk in with questions about bus timings or train tickets, and we do our best to find the answers. The office has a few desks and some old maps on the walls. It’s not very modern, but it does the job. Shahapur is a place where people know each other, so we get a lot of locals coming in just to chat before they book something. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking schedules. Sometimes things get confusing with cancellations or delays, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting it out. We don’t have a marketing department. We just have a sign outside and word of mouth. It’s a slow pace compared to the big cities, but we like it that way. We've seen a lot of people head off on trips and come back with stories. It’s nice to be a small part of that. We just keep the files organized and make sure the printer has ink. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in the area. We show up every morning and wait to see who walks through the door next. There is always someone needing a little help with their travel plans.
