Sales And Design

We run Sales And Design out of H No 1771 in Sector No 10, Anjaneyanagar. It’s right near where G.N.Desai lives here in Belgaum. We do a mix of things, mostly helping people figure out how they want their spaces to look and then getting the right items for them. It’s not a huge design studio with assistants running around. It’s just us working on sketches and talking to suppliers on the phone throughout the morning. The office is really just a part of the house filled with catalogues and measuring tapes. We've been in Belgaum for years, so we know where to find things and who to talk to for different materials. Sometimes the dog barks while we are on a call, or the neighbors come by for a quick chat. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a polished presentation for every meeting we hold. Usually, we just sit down with a cup of coffee and look at some drawings together on the table. We like it this way because it feels more real and relaxed. Every house or shop we work on is different, and we just try to make it work for the person living there. It’s a lot of back and forth, but we enjoy the process of seeing a small idea actually get built in the real world.
