Retaling

You can find us right in the middle of Subash Market. It’s always loud and busy around here in Hindwadi. Krishnaraj Kulkarni is the name on the records, and we've been operating out of this Belgaum spot for a long time. The shop gets a lot of foot traffic because of the market location. 590006 is our area, and everyone around here knows everyone else. Retaling is what we do, but it's really just about being part of the daily grind. We open early when the other market stalls are setting up. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so much stuff squeezed into the space. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. People come in and out all day long asking for things. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can actually talk to someone. It’s better that way. We see the same faces every week. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the front door if the storm is bad enough. We just put a bucket down and keep going. It’s a practical way to live. We’re not fancy people. We just work the market hours and try to keep things organized as best as we can in the chaos of Hindwadi. It’s a good life even if it’s a bit tiring. We close up when the sun goes down and go home for the night.
