Precious Blossom School

Precious Blossom School is tucked away on the 6th Cross of Dr Radhakrishnan Marg in the Hindwadi area of Belgaum. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels much calmer than the busier parts of the city. We are based in a building that fits right in with the houses around us. Since we handle younger kids, there is always a lot of chatter and the sound of little feet running around. The classrooms are filled with drawings and colorful posters that the children have made, though they often peel off at the corners or fade over time. We have a small outdoor area where the kids can play, and we have to keep a close eye on them so they don’t wander toward the gate. Hindwadi is a nice place, and many of the families in the 590011 area just walk their children over in the mornings. We don't have a big cafeteria, so everyone brings their own lunch boxes, and the smell of home-cooked food fills the hallways around noon. The teachers here are mostly local women who have been with us for a long time. They are used to dealing with the occasional tantrum or scraped knee. It’s not a big corporate institution; it’s more like a small community hub for the neighborhood kids. We spend our days teaching the basics and making sure the children are safe and reasonably well-behaved until their parents pick them up in the afternoon.
