Orient Engineering Works

Orient Engineering Works is located at 2541 in Mallikarjuna Nagar. It’s a bit tucked away in the Ushkebhavi area, but it’s where we do all our work. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with metal scraps and tools lying around on the benches. We’ve been here long enough that the floors are stained with oil, and the walls are a bit dark. It’s not a place for people who mind getting their hands dirty. We spend most of the day fixing things or fabricating parts. The machines make a lot of noise, and you have to shout to be heard sometimes. It’s just honest engineering work. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and find someone at a lathe or a welding station. Mallikarjuna Nagar is a quiet enough area compared to the main roads, which is nice when we need to concentrate. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for materials to arrive, and those are the slower days when we clean up a bit. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time. They work fine, even if they look old. We don’t go in for anything too fancy. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the pieces fit together like they’re supposed to.
