Mordekar Founders & Engineers

Our place is over in the Macche Industrial Area, specifically at 622/1 on Hotel Manjunath Road. We are pretty close to Ashok Iron Works Plant-II, so if you find them, you’ve basically found us. Mordekar Founders & Engineers is a bit of a long name, but it covers what we do. The road can be a bit rough during the monsoon, and the dust is something we just deal with the rest of the year. We have a decent-sized shed where all the heavy engineering and foundry work happens. It’s not a quiet job, and the noise of the machines is the background music to our lives. We don't have any polished receptionists or fancy waiting rooms. If you show up, one of the guys will probably wipe his hands on a rag before shaking yours. We’ve got a tight-knit group working here. Some of the families have been involved for a generation or two now. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing stuff. Most people find out about us because someone else told them we do okay work and don't overcharge. It’s a lot of grit and sweat, especially when the furnaces are running and the heat becomes almost unbearable. We keep things simple and try to make sure nothing breaks down at the wrong time. It’s a busy life in Macche, and we wouldn't really know what else to do with ourselves if we weren't here every morning.
