M M India Products is situated at No.4 7G 343A in the Bemceil area of Udyambag. This is an industrial part of the region, so there are a lot of factories and workshops around us. You can usually hear the sound of heavy machinery or trucks moving in the distance. Our place is fairly simple, designed more for function than for looks. We have some heavy equipment here and a lot of inventory that takes up most of the floor space. It smells a bit like oil and metal, which is common for Udyambag. We don't have a fancy office upstairs or anything. We mostly work right on the floor or at the small desks we have squeezed into the corner. It gets quite hot in the summer because of the roof, but we’ve got a couple of big fans that help. Most of our day is spent checking on the machines and making sure the products are coming out right. It’s hard work and our hands usually end up pretty dirty by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this Bemceil location for quite a while. We know most of the other business owners on this street. We often share news or help each other out if a tool breaks down. It is a tough environment but we are used to the grind of it. We keep things moving day after day, making sure the products are ready on time. It can be noisy but that’s just life here.
