Ganesh Textiles Industries

Ganesh Textiles Industries is tucked away in Old Belgaum. We are located at House No. 255 on Koravi Galli. It’s a narrow street, but it’s where we’ve always been and it suits us fine. If you can find Sai Hospital, then you are basically right there at our doorstep. We work with textiles, so the place is usually full of rolls of fabric and the constant sound of machines humming. It’s not one of those modern factories with robots; it’s more of a traditional setup where people actually use their hands and eyes. The building is old, like most of the structures in this part of Belgaum, but it works for what we need to do. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and making sure the orders are ready for the local shops and traders. It gets quite loud and warm when everything is running at the same time. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we just have to fix it ourselves and keep going. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights or anything like that. People just come to the house when they need to talk to us about an order or see a sample. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. We’ve known the neighbors for years and it feels like a community. We just focus on getting the fabric right and getting it out the door to our customers. There’s no big secret to it, just showing up and doing the work every morning.
