Kles Doctor Prabhakar Kore Hospital and Medical Research Centre is a big name, but around here in Nehru Nagar, we just think of it as the place where we go to work. It’s a large building and there are always people moving around, from students to doctors to researchers. You can hear the hum of machines and the sound of people talking in the corridors almost all day and night. We are located right in the heart of Nehru Nagar, so it’s easy for folks to get to us. The research side of things means there are always some people in lab coats walking around looking busy. But at the end of the day, it’s still just a hospital where people come when they need help. The lobby is usually full of families waiting for news. We have a lot of different wings and departments, and sometimes even we get a bit turned around in the hallways. It’s a lot of stairs and elevators and tiled floors. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us because of the size of the place or because someone they know was treated here. The staff stays pretty focused on the daily tasks. It’s a lot of data entry, checking vitals, and keeping the place clean. We’ve been part of the Nehru Nagar landscape for a long time now, and it’s just part of our lives, day in and day out, helping whoever walks in.
