Kisan Organic

You can find us in the Bilgi Building, right across from the Sardar Ground. Being Kisan Organic, we deal with a lot of stuff that comes from the land. It’s a bit quieter over here than the industrial parts of town, but we still keep busy throughout the day. The shop has a certain smell to it, mostly earthy and clean, which is nice for a change. We spend our time talking to farmers or people who just want to grow a better garden at home. We started at Cts No.3981/2 because it was a central spot for people coming into town. It’s not a supermarket. It’s a small place where we know most of the people who walk through the door. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is stored right so it doesn't spoil in the heat. Sometimes we get a bit of a crowd when there's a match over at the ground, but mostly it's just regular folks looking for seeds or natural fertilizers. We don't use a lot of big words to explain things. We just tell people what worked for us or what worked for the neighbor. The shop stays open late some days if someone calls and says they’re stuck in traffic. That’s just how we do things. It’s about the soil and the crops and making sure people have what they need to get things growing. We just like seeing the plants thrive.
