Kedar Undale Design Studio

We are located in the Jyoti Building, which is on Ganesh Marg in the Hindwadi area of Belgaum. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the main parts of town but just tucked away enough to let us get some work done without too many distractions. Kedar Undale Design Studio is basically a room full of books, samples of materials, and several drawing boards. We don’t go for the high-end office look because we’d rather spend that time and energy on the actual designs we are making. The building has been here for a while, and it has that lived-in feel that makes us comfortable. We usually start the day quite early before the traffic on Ganesh Marg picks up too much. In this studio, we handle everything from initial sketches to the final details that a builder needs. It’s often just a few of us debating over a layout or looking at tile samples under the light. We don’t have a big mission statement or a set of corporate rules. We just show up, talk to the people who need help with their homes or shops, and try to give them something that makes sense for their budget. Belgaum is a good city to work in because people appreciate straightforwardness. If a design won't work, we just say so. We like the hands-on nature of the job and the fact that we can see our work actually getting built just a few streets away.
