We’ve been here at Plot 22 in Shahunagar for a while now. Most people in Belgaum know the area around Survey No 48. It gets pretty loud during the harvest season when the trucks start coming in. The office is just a simple setup, nothing fancy, just where we handle the paperwork for the sugar. We spend most of our days dealing with local farmers and checking the bags. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's a lot of work keeping things moving, especially when the weather isn't helping much. The rain can really slow down the loading. Our staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get the sugar out to the people who need it. If you walk past the gate, you can usually smell the sweetness in the air, though the dust from the road is also there. We've got a small desk near the front where we keep the ledgers. It's not a corporate office by any means. Just a place where we do our job every day. Belgaum is a good spot for this kind of work, though the traffic on the main road can be a headache in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of orders and talk to the drivers as they wait.
