Janata Hardware

Janata Hardware is based at Office No. 24 on Fort Road. It’s an old part of town and we’ve been here quite a while. We sell all sorts of hardware items. From small screws to larger tools, we try to keep it all in stock. Fort Road is always busy with traffic, so it’s a lively place to be. Our shop is packed with shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find things if you don’t know where to look. But we know our inventory. People come in asking for specific things for their home repairs. We spend a lot of time helping them find the right size or type of tool. It’s not a fancy showroom. It’s just a hardware store where things are stacked up. The walls are covered in displays. We have a small counter where we do the billing. It’s usually just a couple of us working. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here. The building is a bit old, but it serves us well. We see the same faces quite often. Builders and local residents mostly. We try to keep the prices fair. It’s a simple business. We open early and close late most days. Fort Road has its charm, even with all the noise. We just enjoy being part of the local community and selling stuff that people actually need for their daily work. It is what it is.
