Hindustan Constructions, Kolhapur

We are based out in Nipani, which is in the Belgaum district but right on the edge of things near Kolhapur. Our place is on Shirguppi Road, specifically Plot Number 44 in the Badalwale Plot area. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, especially when the trucks go past. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now, working on various local construction tasks. The office is just a plain building on the plot. We don’t have any flashy signs out front. Most of our day is spent talking to the laborers or checking on the materials that get dropped off. The road outside can get pretty muddy during the monsoon, making it a bit hard for the heavy vehicles to get in and out. We manage everything from this one spot. It’s mostly just us and a couple of computers. We like the location because it’s quiet enough to get work done but close enough to the main town area if we need anything. Nipani is a small place, so everyone knows where the construction yard is. We don't have a big team here, just a handful of guys who know the trade. Sometimes we have to travel out to the sites in the rural parts of Belgaum. It's a lot of driving back and forth on those narrow roads. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It's just the way things go at Hindustan Constructions.
