This branch of Gokak Textiles Ltd is part of the Shapoorji Polongi Group. We are based out of Bungalow Number 46 at Gokak Falls in Karnataka, 591 308. Since we are under the larger group umbrella, things are organized but the vibe at the actual bungalow is still pretty low-key and local. Being located near the falls means we get a bit of that misty air, especially during the monsoon months. Our work revolves around the textile industry, which has a long history in this specific patch of Karnataka. It’s a practical office space inside a bungalow, which is quite common for the older company setups in this region. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, handle the textile business requirements, and go about our day. The Shapoorji Polongi connection is there, but on the ground here at Gokak Falls, we are just the local team managing the daily tasks. We don't have any big mission statements plastered on the walls. Mostly it's just calendars, some old desks, and people working on files. It is a stable place to be. If you are around the Gokak Falls area, you might pass by us without even realizing it's a textile office. We like it that way. It’s a quiet, hardworking environment where the focus is just on the job and not on making a big scene about it for no reason.
