Vikas Composites

We operate out of Plot No. 1110 in the Auto Nagar area of Kanabargi. It’s an industrial spot, as you might guess from the name. We work with composites, which is a bit different from the standard metal shops around here. There’s a lot of resin and fiberglass involved. It’s sticky work and you have to be careful with the mixtures. We have a decent sized floor space, but it fills up fast when we have a big project going on. Most of us here at Vikas Composites have been doing this for years. We learned by doing, not by reading manuals all day. The smell of the materials is something you get used to after a week or so. We don't really do much in terms of advertising. Most of our work comes from long-standing relationships with other local businesses. We just try to get the pieces right. If a mold isn't perfect, we do it again. That’s just how it goes. Kanabargi is a good place for a business like ours. There are plenty of suppliers nearby. The roads can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage to get our shipments out. We aren't a big corporation. We’re just a local shop trying to do things correctly. Our tea breaks are usually the highlight of the afternoon when we all sit outside for ten minutes to catch some air.
