Akg Life Science

Our little spot is at Cts No. 244/43, right in Full Bagh Galli. If you've ever been down this lane, you know how tight the space can get with all the bikes and people moving around. We work on the life science side of things, mostly keeping track of supplies and making sure the inventory is right. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the summer if we keep the fans going. We have boxes stacked up in the corners because there’s never quite enough room for everything. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time getting through the narrow parts of the galli, so we end up carrying stuff by hand to the main road. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes all day. Akg Life Science isn't about big glass buildings or suits. We usually wear whatever is comfortable for moving crates. We’ve got a small kettle in the back for making tea when the afternoon slump hits. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all look out for each other. If a package arrives at the wrong door, someone always brings it over. That’s just how it is in this part of the city. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of what we do is hands-on, checking labels and filling out ledgers. It is a bit messy but we know where everything is.
