Advance Tapes

Our business is located at 702 in the Udyambag area. It is a purely industrial zone, so there are always sounds of metal banging and trucks moving around. We work with industrial tapes. Our space is basically a big room full of large rolls that we cut and prepare for shipping. It is not the cleanest place in the world because of all the dust from the industrial traffic outside. We get to work early and start loading up the orders for the day. Tapes might seem simple, but there are hundreds of kinds for different temperatures and surfaces. We have to keep track of it all without getting things mixed up. The office part is just a small wooden desk in the corner with a phone that rings quite a bit. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy uniforms. We just wear what is comfortable for moving heavy boxes. Most of our regulars are other businesses in the Udyambag area. It’s a community where everyone knows what the other person does. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we are busy from start to finish. It’s an honest way to make a living and we just focus on keeping the stock levels where they need to be. There is no mystery to what we do here. We just cut the tape and send it out to whoever needs it.
