Airland

Our place, Airland, sits right on NH-34 in Rejinagar. It’s a busy stretch of road here in the Murshidabad district. You see all sorts of trucks and buses flying past all day long. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The building isn't much to look at, just a sturdy place that serves its purpose. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the tools we use. It gets dusty being so close to the highway, but you get used to that pretty quick. We spend a lot of time watching the traffic while we work. The town of Rejinagar has a specific feel to it, and we like being right in the middle of it. Sometimes people stop because they saw our sign from the road. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going. The rain can be heavy here during the monsoon, and we have to make sure everything stays dry inside. Murshidabad has a lot of history, but we’re just focusing on the day-to-day stuff. We’ve known the locals for years. Life on the national highway is never really quiet, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just how things are at Airland. We just keep our heads down and work. There is always something to do, and we just keep at it until the day is done.
