Our office is right on Main Bazar Road in Yadwad. It's a pretty central spot in Gokak Taluk, so most people know where we are. We've been operating out of No. 732 for some time. Being in Belgaum, specifically in a place like Yadwad, means we see a lot of familiar faces every day. We manage chit funds for the local people here. It is mostly about keeping track of the monthly auctions and making sure everyone gets their turn. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the area and the people. Things can get a bit hectic on collection days when everyone comes into the bazaar, but we manage. The building isn't brand new, but it's where we work. We focus on the numbers and the members. Living and working in Karnataka, you get used to the pace of the local markets. We try to be fair and just do what we're supposed to do. If someone has a question about their chit, they just walk in. There’s no fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs and our ledgers. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and we just keep things moving along. It’s basic work, but it matters to the families here in Yadwad who are trying to save up some money.
