You can find us at 256/3-598 on the road that goes from Arabhavi to Challakere. We’re right in Mundaragi, which is a busy enough spot for people passing through. Our store is one of those places where we try to keep a bit of everything because you never know what someone might need. From soap and biscuits to buckets and ropes, the shelves are pretty packed. It’s not very organized, but we know where everything is kept. The floor is just plain cement and it gets a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We have some jars of sweets right by the counter for the kids who come in after school. The road outside is always busy with tractors and buses heading towards Challakere. It gets quite noisy and dusty during the day. We don’t have any employees, just the family taking turns behind the counter. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench outside when things are quiet. The roof is high which helps keep the place a bit cooler, but it still gets hot in the peak of summer. We’ve been here for years, and the shop hasn't changed much in that time. It’s just a basic general store for the local folks and the travelers. We open early and stay open until the streetlights come on. It’s a long day, but it’s what we do.
