SHREE CRAFTSMEN TEXTILE MILLS PRIVATE LIMITED

You can find our mill at House Number 666 in the Dutta Krupa building. We are located in Bugate Alur, over in the Hukkeri area. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where we do all our textile work. The mill is a loud place. When the machines are running, you have to shout to be heard. We have a few different looms going, and the air always smells a bit like oil and raw fabric. It’s not a polished environment. The walls have some stains and the floor is concrete. We don't have a fancy lobby or a person at a front desk. Most of the time, we are all in the back making sure the threads aren't snapping. It’s hard work and it can get quite hot in the afternoons. We drink a lot of water and keep the big doors open for a breeze. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole day covered in grease trying to fix it. We don't have any big fancy speeches about what we do. We just make textiles and try to keep the business going. Hukkeri is a quiet place otherwise, and we like the peace once we turn the machines off at the end of the day. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve been at it for some time now. Usually, we just lock the gate and head home once the shift is finally over.
