Sharada Clinic

Sharada Clinic is located on Bazar Galli in the Khas Bagh area of Belgaum. It’s one of those old parts of town where the streets are a bit narrow and there’s a lot of history in the buildings. Our clinic fits right into that. We don't have a modern glass front or anything like that. It’s a solid, old-fashioned place with thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer. Bazar Galli is always full of activity, with people buying things and shouting to each other across the road. We hear all of that while we work. The clinic itself is fairly basic. We have a waiting bench and a small area where I sit. It’s a bit cluttered with papers and some old equipment, but we know where everything is. People in Khas Bagh have been coming to us for years. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello while they are out doing their shopping. We don't have a computer system to manage things; we still use a big ledger for the names and dates. It feels more personal that way. Belgaum has a nice climate, and in the mornings, the air is quite fresh. We open the shutters early and start our day. It’s a simple life, and we are happy to be part of this neighborhood. We just take things as they come and do our best with what we have.
