Samusoujanya Foundation

Out here in Athani, on Halyal Road, you can find us at Plot Number 21 in Shankar Nagar. The Samusoujanya Foundation has its roots right here in this patch of Jakati. We’ve been operating from this spot for some time now. It’s a straightforward place. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the essentials to keep the foundation running. The road outside gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s a good community. Most of us here grew up in or around this part of Athani. We handle a variety of local needs, mostly things that come up day-to-day. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting at the table. We spend a lot of time on our feet, getting things ready for the next project. People around Shankar Nagar know where we are if they need something. We try to keep our paperwork in order, even if the filing system is just a few old cabinets. It’s honest work, and it keeps us connected to the neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and talk until it comes back on. That’s just how life is here. We aren't trying to be anything big. We just want to be useful to the people who live on Halyal Road and the surrounding streets. There's a small shop next door where we get our supplies. We like to keep things local and simple. It's a busy life, but it makes sense to us.
