Samarth Clinic

Samarth Clinic is located right near the 1st Railway Gate in Tilakwadi. You can hear the trains passing by quite often, which took some getting used to when we first moved in. We've been in this spot for a while now. It’s a convenient place because everyone knows where the railway gate is. The clinic itself is quite modest. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. I handle the medical side, and I have one person who helps me keep the place tidy and manages the queue. We get a lot of people who are just passing through or live in the nearby houses. It's a bit of a mix. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in when the door stays open too long, so we’re always wiping down the tables. We keep basic supplies like bandages and cough syrups on the shelves. It’s nothing like those massive hospitals in the city center. We prefer it this way. It’s quiet enough in between the trains. I usually spend my mornings checking the inventory and making sure we have enough of everything for the day. The floor is made of old tiles that have seen better days, but they’re clean. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just find us by walking past or hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a practical little clinic. We keep things simple and honest here.
