Rose Tutorials

Rose Tutorials is located on Camp Road in Belgaum. Being in the Camp area means we have a bit of that old military town feel around us. The building is a basic setup on the ground floor. We’ve been here for a while now, just helping students from around the neighborhood with their daily lessons. Belgaum weather can be a bit damp, especially during the monsoon, so the walls sometimes look a bit weathered, but inside it’s dry and good for studying. We have some wooden benches that have seen many years of use. It’s not a large place. There are just a couple of rooms where we group the students by their grades. We don't use any high-tech gadgets or fancy software here. It’s mostly just reading from textbooks and writing on the board. The traffic on Camp Road can get a bit heavy in the mornings and evenings, but during the day it’s alright. We usually start our sessions after the local schools let out. Parents often drop their kids off on their way to the market. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well enough to explain them to the teenagers. It’s a practical way to spend the afternoon. We focus on the syllabus and making sure the homework gets finished before they go home for dinner. It’s a steady, quiet life here at the tutorials.
