Rani General Store

Rani General Store is found at 12/512, Kanbargi Road in Ramteerth Nagar. It’s a corner spot, which makes it easy for people to see us when they’re driving or walking by. We have a lot of different items crammed into a small space. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, especially when we get a big shipment in. We don’t have any employees, just a few family members helping out. We spend our mornings cleaning the front and getting things ready for the day. Kanbargi Road is a busy route, so there’s always something happening outside. We’ve been in Ramteerth Nagar for quite a while now. The building is simple, with a tin roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. We just put things on the shelves where they fit. Sometimes we have to move things around to find what someone is looking for. It isn’t a perfect system, but it’s ours. We don’t do any advertising. People just know we’re here at 12/512. We keep the place open six days a week and take Sundays off to rest. It’s just a regular general store, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep going with the daily routine and hope for a good day's work.
