Prabhavi Pre-Primary School

Prabhavi Pre-Primary School is tucked away on 2nd Cross in Shivaji Nagar. We are based in the Dr. Building, which is a familiar landmark for most people living around here in Belgaum. Being a pre-primary school, our days are usually quite loud and full of energy. We have little ones running around from the moment we open the doors in the morning. It’s a lot of work looking after kids this young, but the staff here has a lot of patience. We focus on getting them used to being away from home and teaching them their first letters and numbers. The classrooms are colorful, mostly because of the drawings the children make and stick on the walls. It’s not a massive campus, but it’s safe and the parents seem to appreciate that we’re right here in the middle of the community. Shivaji Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside, but the kids don’t seem to mind. Sometimes the toddlers have their bad days and we have to call the parents, but usually, it’s just a lot of singing and playing. We’ve been here for a bit now and have seen many kids move on to the bigger schools in Belgaum. It’s nice when they come back to say hello years later. We’re just a small local school for the neighborhood families and the building is usually full of noise until the afternoon when the kids go home.
