My School Zone

My School Zone is located right near the Jagat Circle, which is one of the busiest spots you can find. We’re tucked in with R.G. Jahagirdar, right across from the City Centre Library. It’s the kind of place where you have to watch your step because of the crowds in the Super Market area. The shop is always full of things—piles of books, stacks of paper, and all the small bits and pieces that schools need. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. If you ask for something specific, we can usually dig it out from a shelf in the back. The noise from the main road is constant, with rickshaws and motorbikes zooming past the front door. We don't have much space to move around, especially when a shipment comes in and we have boxes all over the floor. It’s a local spot, so we see the same faces every week, mostly parents and teachers who are in a hurry. We just try to get them what they need so they can get back to their day. The fans on the ceiling hum quite loudly, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes, when it’s raining, the shop gets a bit damp, but we just cover the important stuff and keep going. It’s a small, honest shop in a very busy part of town where everyone seems to be rushing.
