MANASRUTI CHITS PRIVATE LIMITED

Our office, Manasruti Chits Private Limited, is tucked away in Maratha Galli. If you know Gokak well, you probably know where the Teladavva Devi Temple is. We are right near there at CTS NO 2255B. It’s a good spot because the temple is a landmark everyone recognizes. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded, especially on festival days, but that is part of living and working in this part of Belgaum. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paper. We use a lot of notebooks to keep track of who paid what. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character I suppose. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. People just walk in and we talk across the counter. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just carry on. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a local business through and through. We usually start the day around ten in the morning once the shop next door opens up. By the time evening rolls around, it gets a little cooler and we finish up the final entries for the day. It’s not a complicated life here in Gokak. We just focus on the chit fund tasks and making sure everyone gets their turn. Nothing more to it than that, really. It is just about doing the daily work correctly.
