Kiran Store

Our store is located at number 11/177, right on Mulgund Road within the Hudco Colony. It has been standing here for quite a while now. Most people who live in the colony know exactly where to find us when they run out of cooking oil or need some fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. Being in a quiet residential area like Hudco means we see the same familiar faces every single day. I know which specific brand of tea the lady from the corner house likes and which laundry soap the big family across the street prefers to buy. It is a small space inside, so the goods are stacked pretty high up on the wooden shelves. You have to be careful not to knock anything over with your elbows when you are walking through the narrow aisle. I try to keep the floor swept clean, but with so many people coming in from the dusty road outside, it is a bit of a constant battle. We stay open pretty late into the night because someone always forgets a main ingredient for their dinner at the very last minute. The light bulb outside the door flickers sometimes, but we haven't quite got around to fixing the wiring yet. It is a family-run place, so there is usually one of us behind the counter from early sunrise until ten at night. We don't offer home delivery because there are only two of us. It is just a basic store for everyday needs.
