Kesari Traders

We’re located at C-45 on the 7th Main in the APMC Yard at Batwadi. If you’ve ever been to the yard, you know it’s a busy, noisy place full of trucks and people moving goods all day long. Kesari Traders is right in the middle of all that action. We spend our days surrounded by crates and bags. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and making sure the inventory matches what we have on paper. The dust in Batwadi can be something else during the dry season, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have our space in the yard where we keep the goods. Most of our conversations are shouted over the sound of engines or people calling out prices. It’s a real, honest environment. We’ve been at C-45 for a good number of years now. We know most of the other traders nearby, and we help each other out when someone’s short-handed. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s our life. We get here early, often before the sun is up, and we stay until the last truck leaves in the evening. That’s just how it works at Kesari Traders. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We’re just local people working hard in the yard to keep things moving. It's a loud life but it keeps us busy and out of trouble.
