Jalihal General Store

Jalihal General Store is right at 467/85-7 in Koppad Keri. We are famous around here for being at the Malapur Last Bus Stop. That means we see a lot of people every single day. When the bus pulls in, there’s always a rush of folks looking for a quick snack or something they forgot to buy for dinner. It’s a small shop, but we try to cram in as much as we can onto the shelves. Koppad Keri is a lively neighborhood and we’re right in the middle of it. You’ll hear the bus engines and the people shouting to their friends all day long. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic, but we just keep wiping down the counters. We don’t have a big staff, it’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We’ve been at this address for years and we know most of the people who get off at that last stop by name. It’s more than just a store, it’s a bit of a meeting point for the neighborhood. Sometimes we run out of space for all the boxes, so things get a bit messy, but that’s just how it goes in a busy general store. We’re just here to provide what the local folks need, whether it’s a pack of matches or some soap.
