Our office is located at CTS No.3850/C in the Guruwar Peth area of Gokak. We are right by the Gombi Gudi, which most locals know well. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and lots of character. The building we are in has been around for a long time. We work from a small room that’s packed with registers and documents. There isn't a lot of extra space. Usually, there are three or four of us working at any given time. We handle the monthly collections and talk to the people who come by. It’s a very local business. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just pens and paper and a basic calculator. The atmosphere is relaxed, though it gets hectic on the days when the groups meet. We usually have a bit of a crowd then. Belgaum weather can be unpredictable, so we are always checking the roof for leaks when the monsoon starts. It’s a humble place, but we get the job done every day. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is free just answers the door. It’s just how we have always done things here in Gokak. Most of the people who visit us have been coming for years. We stay open even when it's raining hard outside and just keep the files dry. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
