We have been in Ramdurg for a while now. The office is at Plot 38 in Mahantesh Nagar. It is just a small place where we handle chit funds for people nearby. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we get through it. People come in to drop off their payments or just ask how the latest group is doing. We do not have a fancy website or anything like that. It is just the physical office in Belgaum district. It gets dusty during the summer months here. Mostly we just deal with locals we have known for years. My cousin helps out with the ledgers when things get busy. If you are walking around Mahantesh Nagar, you will see our sign. It is not new, but it is still there. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the phone will not stop ringing. Life in Ramdurg is quiet enough most days. We just focus on keeping the records straight and making sure everyone gets their turn when the auction happens. It is hard work keeping track of everything but it is what we do here. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old and the paint is peeling a little in the corner. We usually open around ten in the morning, unless someone is running late. The address is long on paper but easy to find if you know the area. We have been at this spot for some time now. Dealing with money and chit groups takes a lot of patience. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the books.
