Our place is located at 27/493 on Kittur Fort Road, right in the heart of Guruwar Peth. We deal in various trade goods, mostly bulk stuff that comes in on trucks. It can get pretty cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to find space for everything. The floors are concrete and have some cracks from years of moving heavy sacks around. We don't have a big office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger. It’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we clean up every evening before locking up. People stop by to ask about prices or to see what we have in stock. We don't do any big advertising; word of mouth works fine for us. Sometimes the rain leaks in near the back door, so we have to move the stock quickly. That's just how it goes here. We've been on Kittur Fort Road for a long time now. My brother and I manage the day-to-day tasks. It's a lot of lifting and counting. We don't use fancy software, just pens and paper mostly. It’s reliable and we don't have to worry about computers crashing. If you're looking for something specific, you can just ask. We usually know where everything is tucked away in the back. It’s just us doing our work as best as we can each day. We hope to stay right here for a long time.
