Akaar Founders Private Limited

Akaar Founders Private Limited is tucked away in the industrial estate at Udyambag. Our spot is M-31. It’s not the easiest place to navigate if you aren’t from around here, as all the units start looking the same after a while. The area is mostly factories and workshops, so there is always a low hum of machines in the background. We do foundry work, which means it gets quite hot and dusty inside our building. We have sand on the floors and metal scraps piled up in the corners. It’s a working environment, not a showroom. We don’t have a receptionist sitting at a desk. Usually, you’ll just see one of the guys near the entrance. We’ve been at this location for a good number of years. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard, but we just put buckets down and keep going. We aren't interested in making things look polished for visitors. We just want to get the castings done right. The lunchroom is just a few benches where we sit and eat our tiffins. It’s a simple operation. Most of the people working here have been doing this for a long time. We know the machines and we know the process. It’s hard work, and we go home tired every day. That’s just the way it is for us at the estate.
