Our place is up on the second floor of the Diamond Corner building in Deshpande Nagar. If you know Block-10, that's where you'll find Agrosurg Irradiators (India) Pvt. Ltd. It's a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We work on irradiation stuff, mostly for farm products to make them last longer. It’s technical work but we just see it as a necessary part of the food chain. The office isn't very big. We have a few desks and some equipment tucked away in the back. Deshpande Nagar is a busy area, so there's always noise from the street below. We've been here for a bit now, getting used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Most of the guys here live nearby so we walk or take the bus. It’s not some big corporate headquarters, just a functional space where we handle our business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at charts. When visitors come, we usually have to move some files to find a chair. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. We don't really do much advertising. People who need us usually find us through word of mouth or because they know where Diamond Corner is. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing for the local producers and businesses around here.
