Gauri & Company

Gauri & Company is located in Aheer Basna Village, which is part of the Kotkasim area. We are right near the Hanuman Mandir, which is helpful because it’s the best way to give people directions. The bells from the temple are a nice sound to hear throughout the day. The roads leading into the village are quite dusty and they get pretty rough after the heavy rains. Our office is just a simple, large room where we handle everything. It can get a bit crowded when everyone shows up at the same time. We do most of our work with the people from the nearby villages. It is the kind of place where you know your neighbors and everyone says hello when they walk past the door. We don't wear anything fancy, just clothes that can get a bit dirty from the work we do. There is always a layer of dust on the desks because of the fields surrounding us. We don't mind the slow pace of life here. Sometimes we sit on the benches outside to have our tea and just watch the day go by. There aren't many shops nearby, so we have to bring our own supplies for the week. It’s a quiet life at the company, but we stay busy enough with the locals who come by. It’s a very basic and honest way to make a living.
