Vidya Coaching Centre

In the Phulwariya part of Barauni, right here in Begusarai, we run this little coaching centre. It isn't anything fancy, just a couple of rooms where students come after their regular school hours to get some extra help. Education is a big deal around here, so we always have kids coming in, especially for Math and Science. We have long wooden benches and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and a blackboard. Most of our classes happen in the late afternoon and evening. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just use some battery lights and keep going. We don't use any high-tech projectors or tablets; I just stand at the board and explain the chapters from their textbooks. We spend a lot of time solving problems and doing practice tests, especially when the board exams are coming up. The students sit quite close to each other, and it gets a bit noisy when they are all discussing their work. I started this because I saw a lot of kids in the neighborhood struggling to keep up with their schoolwork. We keep the fees low so that it is accessible for most families in the area. It is a very simple, no-nonsense place. Vidya Coaching Centre is just here to help the local kids understand their subjects and get through their exams without too much stress.
