Tisco

Out here in Vill:Qusba, things move at a different pace than the big cities. We are located right in the Po:Hussaina area, which is part of Balia in the Begusarai district. If you are coming from the main road, you have to look for the turnoff near the old market. This place called Tisco has been part of the landscape for quite some time now. We deal with the daily tasks of running a business in rural Bihar, which isn't always easy but we make it work somehow. The dust gets everywhere in the summer months, and the rain makes the roads a bit tricky during monsoon. Most of us living and working here grew up nearby. We know everyone’s name and whose uncle owns which shop. It’s a tight-knit spot. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or shiny floors. It’s just a sturdy building where the work happens. Sometimes we sit outside under the shade when it’s too hot inside the shop. People stop by to talk or ask for help with stuff, and that’s just how we do things in Begusarai. We don't spend much time on fancy letters or big announcements. We just wake up, get to the site, and do what needs doing for the day. It’s honest work and it keeps the community going. Being in the heart of Bihar means we value the land and the people around us every day and we plan to keep it that way. It is all about the locals here in the village.
