You can find Standard Steel right on N. H - 31, specifically at Mahamadpur Chowk. We are directly opposite the Jai Mata De Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark because everyone knows it. Being on the highway means there is a constant stream of trucks and cars passing by. It is a bit dusty and loud, but that is just how life is on the main road. We handle a lot of steel here, so the place is mostly filled with metal beams, rods, and heavy equipment. It is a very practical environment. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just the tools of the trade and stacks of inventory. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We see a lot of drivers pulling in from the highway to ask directions or just to look at what we have in stock. The petrol pump across the way keeps the area busy even late into the evening. We spend most of our time loading things up or checking the weight of different pieces. It is hard work, and your hands usually end up dirty by the end of the shift. We do not mind it though. It is a solid business in a spot that is easy to get to if you are driving through Mahamadpur. We just keep things moving and try to help anyone who walks in.
